Mount Hood – Some Of The Best Snow In The U.S., For Now

This picture shows Mount Hood Meadows picking up 6″ of Christmas Night snow.

That, and the snow Monday night into this morning is happening at the best possible time: the busiest week of the year for Mt. Hood ski resorts!

Did Man-Made Snow Fall In McMinnville?

With no storm systems even close by–and nearly 50 degree temperatures up on Mt. Hood…you can imagine I was stunned to hear it had just snowed in McMinnville and we already had the pictures coming in to my KOIN Local 6 colleague, Meteorologist Matt Brode.
