Unusually Strong Spring Storm Means A Wet & Windy Monday

Portland’s First 70 Degree Day Of The Year

Update: we did it! Both Portland & Vancouver officially hit 71 on Saturday April 23, 2011. Nice!

Also, the warmest places on our WeatherBug Network were: Camas, Battleground & West Linn, where highs hit 73-74 degrees.

I’ve been waiting for months to use this headline!

Portland In April: Record Breaking Cold

I’ve had enough of our cold spring. Seriously. I’m just done.

At least I’m not alone. Thanks to those of you who said you’re also ‘over it’ on my Facebook Weather Page.

Here’s the problem: our record highs this time of year are mainly in the 80s. Our average highs are in the 60s. And we can’t find either one of them!
