Updated: the storm center at the surface – moved inland south of the Portland area. So that will mean less wind and most of the advisories and warnings are now cancelled. However, it’s still going to be breezy at times with some nice afternoon downpours!

Update: we did it! Both Portland & Vancouver officially hit 71 on Saturday April 23, 2011. Nice!
Also, the warmest places on our WeatherBug Network were: Camas, Battleground & West Linn, where highs hit 73-74 degrees.
I’ve been waiting for months to use this headline!

I’ve had enough of our cold spring. Seriously. I’m just done.
At least I’m not alone. Thanks to those of you who said you’re also ‘over it’ on my Facebook Weather Page.
Here’s the problem: our record highs this time of year are mainly in the 80s. Our average highs are in the 60s. And we can’t find either one of them!
