Weather odds actually favor the first day of summer being unusually warm in Portland and the rest of the I-5 Corridor.

At least in recent years. Who knew?

I researched this for the my weathercasts last night on KOIN Local 6 News. The chart to the right shows the Portland high temperatures on the first day of summer from 2007 to 2011. The average high is 74 degrees.Read more

Heaviest Rain Taking Aim At Portland, Vancouver, Salem
