Rebuilding Joplin, Missouri – One Year Tornado Anniversary

It seemed like it couldn’t be real.

But the devastation caused by the Joplin Missouri tornado was real.

And since May 22, 2011 when this picture was taken, the people and the city of Joplin have been busy rebuilding.

Here’s a story I ran across on YouTube that shows a year’s worth of progress. It seems like hope is rising from the tragedy.
