Today, April 14, 2012, Packy turns 50 years old. And amazingly, Portland sun will be shining, especially for those celebrating with Packy later in the day.

While I was preparing my “Packy’s Bday Bash Forecast” for last night’s news on KOIN Local 6, I came across this awesome video of Packy’s first moments of life.

I had to share it–and got a laugh out of the admission prices. Be sure to notice that shot! And as you’ll see from the long lines of people in the video…Packy has always been a northwest superstar.
