Once roads thawed on Friday January 4, 2012, Louis Bowerman made a trip to Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Here are a few of his photos. I love these scenes!
Also, Darlisa Black was in the Columbia Gorge with her camera near Rowena Crest. She took this shot.
And finally, I was a long way from The Gorge but I looked east and saw this beautiful Mare’s Tail cloud moving by. I mean, doesn’t it look like a horses tail?
Moisture is falling from this cloud but winds below sweep it away into this whispy shape and the moisture evaporates, never reaching the ground!
