More 80 Degree Days Than Portland’s Seen In 10 Months
With a high of 82 degrees on Monday July 9, 2012, we sealed the deal. Portland has now had five days in a row at or above 80 degrees. The last time that happened? September 2011. It’s been 10 months!
Portland is still waiting on it’s first 90 degree day of the year. June 16 is average for our first 90 degree day. But last year we went all the way to August 20th before hitting 90.
We’ll see how it turns out this year. Some of our forecast tools say it could happen later this week but I’m not sold on that just yet. Stay tuned weather fans…stay tuned!
