Something Strange Looking In Skies Above Oregon & Washington

November 28, 2012 by Bruce Sussman 1 Comment

Jena tweeted about this weird line in the skies over Washington on Tuesday November 27, 2012. “I took these strange marks after I heard a loud boom. Looks like missiles to me! Thoughts? Anyone else see it.?

Yes, Jena, someone else did see it.

Kelli from Oregon saw the same type of line off of I-205 on Portland’s SE side.

And I even noticed the line in the sky while I was outside putting up Christmas lights on Tuesday. Here’s the explanation:

Jets flying above the main cloud layer, were leaving behind Contrails or ice clouds. You know, the ones you see on a clear day against a blue sky? Because those skinny and long ice-clouds were above the main cloud layer, they actually cast a shadow on the clouds below. So this is a case of shadow that one cloud is casting on another one.

And Jena, you’re right. It did look like a missile launch. But instead, it was from jets that were flying high in our skies above the main layer of clouds.

Did you notice something like this on Tuesday?

same light in trois-rivieres Québec, Canada 27 novembre at 11 pm I look up the sky and I saw that strange line.
At first I thought chemtrail left by an airplane, but the more I look the more I see the line does not disperse as expected.
and I believe that it is more the path of a large reflector from heaven.
